Spear Helps Bud Light Get Personal
Spear joined forces with Anheuser-Busch InBev to introduce a dynamic, interactive label for its Bud Light brand. Incorporating metal activation technology, Spear's technical team transformed the Bud Light label to allow drinkers to add a personal touch. The label, printed at Spear's Tennessee facility, features an exclusive area for consumers to customize their bottle using a coin or key to write a message or draw an image. It also helps to avoid bottle mix-ups-or exchange phone numbers. According to Mike Sundet, Senior Director of Bud Light, "Bud Light drinkers are always looking for fun, quirky ways to express themselves, and the My Bud Light bottle offers them a canvas to do just that."
