New Yorkers Show Support for Recycling in Madison Square Park

Over 400 people stopped by Madison Square Park in NYC on Saturday, September 19th to recycle their empty glass containers, cans, and plastic bottles. GPI, Tomra of North America, a leading global provider of advanced recycling solutions, and VOSS Water, provided New York City's Madison Square Park Conservancy with three recycling machines for use in the organization's Madison Sq. Music: Studio Series. Several park visitors received cool prizes, including iPod shuffles, t-shirts, VOSS Water, and more, for recycling! All deposit refund monies collected from containers recycled will be donated to the Madison Square Park Conservancy.
