Crenshaw/Brockway, PA: O-I employees visit 585 students, who collected 5,760 pounds of glass for recycling!!

The O-I Crenshaw and Brockway, Pennsylvania facilities visited Brockway Elementary school to educate approximately 585 students on the importance of recycling glass containers. The students were challenged to collect glass through out Recycle Glass Week and to bring the glass to O-I's facility on Friday, 25th to weigh and determine the winning grade level. The total amount of glass collected totalled 5,760 pounds. O-I partnered with Veolia Environmental Services and the Jefferson County Waste Authority to make the event a success.
