SWANA Webinar Glass Recovery: A Regional Approach

Information on Northern Virginia jurisdictions addressing glass collection

Thursday, April 16, 2020
1:00 PM - 2:15 PM (EDT)

Event Details

Join this SWANA Webinar to learn about the efforts of several Northern Virginia jurisdictions to address glass collection. Public support for glass recycling remains high, but many communities struggle to provide the service in a financially and economically viable way. You'll learn how one region worked together to put in place purple drop-off containers for source-separated glass to supply a municipal glass processing machine and other ways to implement collection efforts.
